NDLEA parade suspected drug peddlers in Gombe

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Gombe has called on the residents in Gombe and environs to assist the agency to stem the rise of Drug abuse in the state.

The Agency’s acting state commander Nnodim Hossana, disclosed this while parading two suspects involved in the distribution of psychotropic substances in the state.

Hosanna said his men caught the suspects in the state metropolis while distributing cannabis, adding that the suspects would be prosecuted in court as soon as the court resumes from recess.

Meanwhile, residents in Gombe metropolis have called for more funding for the NDLEA to enable them fight the scourge of drug abuse in the state
