As part of its efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state, as the world faces the threat of second waves of COVID, Lagos state government, has advised the residents, to see every symptom of malaria as COVID 19 and go for a test in any of the test centres in the state.
The state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who stated this today, while addressing newsmen in Alausa Ikeja, on the update of COVID-19 noted that the state has provided more testing and oxygen centres, as well as home-based treatment for patients, who are isolated in their homes
On the reopening of schools, the governor said it was a hard choice for the state but the best decision, adding that the ministry of education would continue to monitor compliance levels in schools in Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu said that the state government will continue to clamp down on violators of COVID-19 protocols, stressing that it had arrested and prosecuted over five hundred persons who violated its regulations.
