The Niger State Government has received a donation of 250-bed isolation centre in Minna, the state capital by son of former military President Mohammed Babangida
The donation was made following the state Government’s call on individuals and non-governmental organisations as well as corporate bodies to assist Niger state during the coronavirus pandemic.
The donation includes kits, hand sanitisers as well as face masks. Others are bio-hazard bags and boots, to be used at the isolation centre.

Mohammed babangida who was represented by yakubu alhaji assured the state government of continuous support to the task force on covid-19 to achieve the desired results.
Chairman of the state taskforce on covid-19 and secretary to the state government, Ahmad Matane, appreciated the foundation for the donation which he described as not only necessary but timely.
Matane also assured that the items and the centre would be maximally utilised, for the purpose it is meant for.
