With few hours to the commencement of the nationwide strike called by the leadership of the organised labour in Nigeria, some residents of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, have expressed their readiness to join the struggle if the strike will solve the problem.
Some respondents who spoke with ait.live also explained that the national strike will no doubt take its toll on the poor masses even as many justle to stockpile their homes with foodstuff and other essentials not knowing how long the strike will last.
Kwara residents, however, insisted that Nigeria has been unlucky especially with bad leadership whose actions and inactions have led to the myriads of problems confronting the nation.
Speaking further, others maintained that the current administration should live up to the expectations of the people whose mandate they represent to live a meaningful life under a secured environment.

There are clear indications that definitely the masses will have no other option but to go through another round of hardship even as the nation is yet to recover from the effects of Covid-19 pandemic.
