English Premier League Champions, Manchester City, have reportedly started planning for a 21,000-capacity stadium to be built next to the Etihad which will hold concerts, NBA games and UFC showdowns.
Manchester City revealed their £200million Etihad campus back in December 2014.
According to the Sun, they are looking to get the go-ahead for a new stadium worth £300m.
Meetings with the public reportedly began last week and the construction, if approved, is set to take close to three years to finish.
It is also claimed that Manchester City council has already given its backing to the project.
