Team Morocco with an 18-man contingent are the first nation to arrive Nigeria for the Africa U-19 Nations Cup starting on Wednesday.
The Moroccans made known their intention of picking one of the two qualification tickets allotted to Africa for the World Cup billed for Iran.
Having successfully completed all COVID-19 travel requirements the Moroccan team arrived in Nigeria, the earliest among seven teams scheduled for the tournament.
Their intention is to acclimatise and establish dominance ahead of other participating teams with their sole target of picking the world championships ticket.
On Saturday, the Nigerian boys and girls team had a feel of the indoor sports hall of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Both teams convincingly defeated their opponents to make a bold statement.

The local organising committee, however, assured that all modalities for a hitch free tournament is already in place.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian contingent expected to have arrived Nigeria on Sunday recorded positive covid-19 results and may likely miss the tournament which starts on Wednesday.
DR Congo, the Central Africa Republic, Cameroon and Benin are the other teams participating in the competitions.
