Nigeria finally won its match at the U-19 Cricket World Cup taking place in South Africa.
The junior Yellow Greens won Japan by 8 wickets in the plate games to finish 15th in the 16 nations tournament.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Japan posted 115 runs all out in 42 overs.
Nigeria chased the score with 164 balls remaining losing two wickets in the process.

Suleiman Runsewe scored a brilliant 56 runs off 70 balls not out, supported by Elijah Olaleye with 21 runs off 26 balls.
Ifeanyi Uboh emerged as the man of the match with 5 wickets, conceding just 23 runs in 8 overs.
The win ensured that Nigeria stay above Japan in the ranking.
