Two non-governmental organizations, the Adamu Yola Foundation and the Jordan Nwora Foundation have taken basketball development to the Youths in the North East Zone of the Country.
Kids in the zone would have the opportunity of learning the hoops and dunk game during clinic in Gombe.

The three-day program organized by the foundations owned by some players of the D’Tigers national team would engage, teach and prepare forty girls and sixty boys from the North East for future endeavors with the national teams.
The Organisations believe the move would aid the growth of basketball in the region and take the youths away from idleness and restiveness.
