The Police in Kano have paraded one 24-year-old Habibu Saleh.
He was alleged to have kidnapped his neighbour’s eight-year-old daughter, Hasiya Tasiu, and killed her after receiving a ransom of 500, 000 Naira in Kiyawa Village of Gabasawa Local Government Area of the state.
The Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Kiyawa, said the police had been tracking the phone number of the suspect before he was arrested.
The suspect, Habibu Saleh, confessed to have kidnapped his neighbour’s daughter and killed her after receiving the ransom.

The father of the victim, Tasiu Ado, burst into tears as he narrated the gory incident.
The Police Public Relations Officer called on parents to be vigilant and take good care of their children.
