President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation tonight April 27, 2020 at 8 pm.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina, television, radio, and other electronic media stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, respectively for the broadcast.
The presidential broadcast comes as the four weeks Coronavirus lockdown in the Federal Capital Territory, Lagos, and Ogun States elapses tonight.
The President on Sunday received briefing from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 through the Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire and NCDC Director-General Chikwe Ihekweazu.

It will be recalled that the 36 State Governors had recommended national lockdown of inter-state borders with movement allowed within states but restrictions on large gatherings including enforcement of face masks.
