Muslim faithful will begin fast in the Holy Month of Ramadan on Tuesday.
President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA and Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar II confirms the sighting of the moon in some locations across the country.
The Sultan made the announcement on social media live stream from his palace in Sokoto, North-West Nigeria.

Fasting is observed by Muslims from sunrise to sunset in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Tuesday, April 13, 2021, is equivalent to the 1st day of Ramadan 1442AH.
