The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Investment Maryam Uwais, says the Federal Government is satisfied with the progress Gombe state government is making with the engagement of five hundred of its youth in collaboration with the ‘At risk children initiative’.
The presidential aide noted that the progress made by the state could reduce the growing cases of banditry in the northern parts of the country.

She said this during the graduation ceremony and passing out of five hundred youths who had undergone training under the new Gombe state security traffic and environmental corps.
With the completion of the training programme, the youths would be drafted to all the one hundred and fourteen wards of the state.
