The Convener of RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, has been granted bail in the sum of 20 million naira with two surety in like sum.
The Magistrate Binta Bello gave this ruling stating that one of the witnesses must be a civil servant who must not be less than grade level 12 and must reside within Abuja.
Sowore was also asked not leave the FCT and must always report to the Federal Capital Territory High Court Registrar every Mondays and Fridays pending the hearing and determination of the suit.
Peter Williams, Sanyaolu Juwon, Emmanuel Bulus and Damilare Adenola who were also defendants in the suit, were also granted bail in the sum of 1 million naira each, and must also produce a surety in like sum.
At the last sitting, the court could not sit due to failure of the police to produce Sowore in court for reasons unknown.

Sowore and four others were arrested in the early hours of January 1, 2021, for allegedly inciting the public against the Federal Government at what is described as an unlawful assembly.
