An accident that occured along the Abuja-Keffi Expressway on Sunday claimed the life of one person with 4 others who sustained injuries been treated at the Nyanya General Hospital.
The accident occured at about 2pm when a BUA truck fully loaded with bags of cement failed brakes at the Kugbo Mechanic Village while heading towards Nyanya and rammed into a Dangote truck from behind.

The situation resulted in a gridlock of over 5 hours for motorists plying the route.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC in a statement by the Corps Commander
Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem indicates that the Dangote truck has been moved out of the road while a tow truck is still working to move the BUA truck which the engine, gear, and prime mover are all detached from the tail.
The bags of cement are also being moved out of the road.
The lone corpse from the crash has been deposited at the mortuary of the Mararaba Federal Medical Centre
