Local vigilantes of Mahundu Village in the Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State have recorded a remarkable victory against the bandits who invaded their community.
The bandits after hours of gunfight with the local vigilante, took to their heels, after seeing the level of resistance.
A member of the community said the victory against the bandits serves as moral booster for them, as they will not relent in their effort to always be at alert.

He said the bandits had killed two people in a neighbouring community.
